Walking / Hiking Difficulty: This tour does not require much walking, except for the optional Johnston Canyon and Maligne Canyon trails, where guests can choose to do a short loop. Our buses stop close to the attractions, ensuring easy access. Most of our clients are between the ages of 50 and 80 and find the tour manageable.

Day 1: Calgary or Edmonton to Jasper – Coach Transfer

Arrive in Jasper: 7:00 pm (Approximately)

Coach transfer from downtown hotels or the airport to Jasper. Travel through the rolling foothills of Alberta into the majestic Canadian Rockies. En route, take the Icefields Parkway, “one of the most beautiful highways in the world”. Overnight in Jasper.
Day 2: Jasper to Banff – Motor Coach
Departure: 8:00 am
Arrival: 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Start your morning with a refreshing hike (optional) through the Maligne Canyon, a remarkable limestone gorge adorned with six narrow bridges and picturesque waterfalls. Continuing our journey south along the Icefield Parkway, often hailed as one of the most beautiful highways in the world, we will explore its must-see attractions, including Athabasca Falls, Peyto Lake (seasonal), and Castle Mountain. At the Columbia Icefield, ride the “Ice Explorer”** on Athabasca Glacier or visit the Glacier Skywalk**. Overnight in Banff. [B]
Day 3: Banff National Park, including Lake Louise – Motor Coach
Departure: 8:00 am
Arrival:7:00 pm
Prepare yourself for another exhilarating day of sightseeing and activities in Banff National Park. As we make our way to Lake Louise, we will pause at Johnston Canyon for a leisurely hike (optional) along the trail that guides us to the breathtaking Lower Falls. While at Lake Louise, you’ll find numerous viewpoints offering splendid photo opportunities of the majestic Victoria Glacier towering over the lake. In the afternoon, our adventure continues as we explore other notable attractions in the Rockies, including Moraine Lake (seasonal), Banff Springs Hotel, and Bow Falls Don’t forget to take advantage of the gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain** for a breathtaking panoramic view of Banff town and its surrounding or Upper Hot Springs for a soothing soak in the hot, mineral-rich water. Day 4: Lake Louise Surroundings – At Your Leisure
Make the most of a leisurely day to fully immerse yourself in the splendor of Lake Louise. Seize the opportunity to visit the stunning Lake Agnes, featuring a charming teahouse nestled at an elevation of 2134 meters. Alternatively, opt for a gondola ride up the Lake Louise Ski Resort, treating yourself to a panoramic view of Lake Louise and its surroundings. Overnight in Lake Louise. [B]
Day 5: Lake Louise to Kamloops- Rocky Mountaineerountaineer Rail
Departure: 8:20 am
Arrival: 6:30 – 8:00 pm
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Lake Louise Station at 8:30 am MT to travel from Lake Louise to Kamloops, located in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Your journey takes you through a spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes, and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass, and Craigellachie where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. You will arrive in Kamloops between 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm PT. Spend the evening exploring the city, or relaxing in your hotel. Day 6: Kamloops to Vancouver – Rocky Mountaineer
Departure: 7:35 am
Arrival: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station at 7:35 am PT. On today’s journey west, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Breakfast and lunch will be served onboard. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon.
